Size doesn’t matter. He was the first Urawa goalkeeper until it comes to 2007 when the manager decided to overhaul the team. Recognized as having high reflection and good positioning in front of goal, his contributions helped Urawa to reach the last 8 in USL 2006 competition. The friendly game against Onitsuka Tigers which ended up with 2-2 draw signified his final contribution to the team as this player will not be available for USL 2009 season. TQ Boston.

With his convincing performance, he was chosen as a rotational captain during 2006 and 2007 seasons when the team ended up as quarterfinalists and semifinalists respectively. His most memorable moment scratched when he dribbled from own half to beat 5 players before scoring 4^th goal in the 6-1 demolishing game versus Picisan FC.
